Project Background:
Located in Yining County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, Xinjiang Qinghua Energy Group Co., Ltd. is one of China’s coal-to-natural gas enterprises operating with long-term stability. The facility employs advanced wastewater treatment systems, including ‌9 submerged ultrafiltration (SUF) units‌ for biochemical wastewater, ‌3 external pressure ultrafiltration (UF) units‌ for advanced treatment, and ‌3 external pressure UF units‌ for concentrated brine. These systems support the company’s zero-liquid discharge (ZLD) goals through cutting-edge biochemical wastewater treatment technologies.

Project Outcomes:
Since commissioning, the system has achieved significant results, realizing ‌zero wastewater discharge‌ and maintaining annual freshwater intake at ‌8–9 million cubic meters‌. This dual success reduces operational costs while minimizing water consumption, aligning with sustainable industrial practices.
